how do i print addresses on multiple postcards in publisher 2003

I received a publisher 2007 file, I have publisher 2003 and had no problems
viewing the file. The file is a postcard and i'm trying to print 4 per page.
The problem is I get the 4 postcards but the same address. How can I get it
print a different address on each card?

Print preview showing all addresses the same is a 2003 Publisher bug. There is a
test print selection on the print screen if you are unsure.

Mary,

Thanks for your input. It was very helpful.

I did not see a test print section but I solved the problem by changing my
option from print multiple copies per page to print a single copy per pange
and under my printer option I selected print 4 pages per sheet.

However my new problem is that my postcards print perfectly only in a very
small font.

Is it not obvious why this is the case? The printer driver is taking an
A4 or Letter page with a single post-card in the middle, and scaling it
down to fit 4 on a page.

It sounds like the file has already been merged. Publisher 2007 has the
capability to print four different pages of a file on one sheet (one of
the areas in which Publisher 2007's print engine has been enhanced);
Publisher 2003 can only print different pages on a sheet if you are
merging from a database.

If your printer driver has the capability, a workaround would be to set
the printer's paper size to the size of one card, set the Publisher page
setup to a single page per sheet, and then tell the printer to do 4-up
on A4/Letter. There are more convoluted workarounds if that doesn't work.
