How do I run a Scanpst.exe or Scandisk.exe

It was recommended to me to run a Scanpst.exe with Scandisk.exe or another
disk repair utility several times to see if we can recover a .pst file
(backed up Outlook 2003 emails) on a CDRW.

Can anyone share with me how to do this? I appreciate your time.

if the file is on a CD then I am fairly certain that yuo wont be able to as
scanpst will need to be able to read and write to the pst file and it wont be
able to while its on a CD...although I might be wrong...I meant to post this
same answer back to you last night on the other thread too...
