How do you combine Publisher files?

A

Alan Steinfeld

I have two separate 4 page Publisher files that I would
like to combine into one, 8 page file. Does anyone know
how to do this?

Thanks,

You need to insert new blank pages and then copy/paste from one window to
the other.

Is there any way to cut an entire page in Publisher, or must you cut and paste each individual element of the page?

Alan, there is such a thing as a HELP file.
How to use the HELP file > press F1
I will even give you a tip what to look up in Publisher > surprise surprise
'Select All'.

I will be gracious enough to give you another tip.
You can have more than one instance of Publisher open at a time.

Thanks goodness! At last a sensible solution. I opened M S Publisher 3 times & got my 3 files in place; then I Inserted 2 blank pages in the first one. Following a Copy/Paste of #2 and #3, I did a Save As, and had my new file containing 1, 2 & 3.

I need to create one page (not File, Page) from 3 pages in MS Pub 2003. It is a book cover: front, spine, back--each of which is now on a page. The printing company requires it to be only ONE page & I cannot merge them.

When I select all, group elements, etc. etc. it does not copy the source formatting but uses the destination formatting. However my files uses multiple line spacing options so this messes with them.
