How many rows will eccess support

I would like to know how many rows or lines microsoft eccess supports
At the present I am using office 97 but would update if Iknew the answer to
above

There is no limit on the number of records. There is a limit of 1GB per
database in Access 97, 2GB in Access 2000 and later. See the following
