How to do a Timer

I am trying to find a way to create a timer in VBA so that I can run some
code every 500 milliseconds or so.

I know ather are Timer functions in Basic and C++ but I can't find anything
in VBA.

Just out of interest, what are you doing in VBA that needs to run twice
every second?
