How to edit replies?

OL2003. I'd often like to vary one or more of the replies to 'Reply to all'
messages, or when replying to A with copy to B to be able to add an extra bit
to B's one. Not secretly, nothing deep, just to save replying once to A and
then having to raise a new message to B with the extra instruction or
whatever on it.
Please can anyone suggest a method?

Not possible. You are sending ONE copy of the email to whomever is
listed as a recipient. If you want to send different emails to
different recipients then you have to send one email to a batch of
recipients that all get that copy of your email, send another
different email to another batch of recipients, and so on.

Thank you for your very prompt response. It does have the advantage (that I
stress when training in OL) of forcing one to think before replying-to-all or
using distribution lists.
