How to run outlook from .pst stored in external hard disk

I use PCs (running MS outlook 2003) in different locations and I want to
read/write my outlook emails from my external USB portable hard disk. But I
do not wish to stored any emails in these PCs' hard disks. So in the end, my
portable hard disk is the only storage for my Outlook emails.

Can you advise ways to do so?

Thanks

With OL closed you would copy/move the data file, by default outlook.pst, to
your external drive.
When OL is restarted and complains you point it to the pst.
On other PC's when you start OL, File>Open>Data File and point to the pst.
You would need to set as the default mail store, if others use OL on these
PC's it may impact on their usage.
