How to search on a 'string' in Outlook 2007

E

Eric Barnett

We are trying to use more features in Outlook, specifically a search on the
string ‘1234zz’ from the Inbox of ‘ Mailbox - SDE MRO OPC’ folder and a
second attempt from ‘Veronica’ folder that is within the ‘Mailbox - SDE MRO
OPC’ folder, with no success. The only search that was successful for the
string was from within the ‘Done’ folder. I have toggled between the ‘All
Folders’ & ‘Only the current selected folder’ with no success.

In summary, the only way I could find the string ‘1234zz’ from subject
heading in email in folder ‘Done’ was to highlight the ‘Done’ folder and
search using options ‘Only the current selected folder’ . Can you help?

1234zz is in the subject heading of an email in the ‘Done’ folder.
