HP Ipaq, Vista, Windows Mail & Outlook

I have an HP Ipaq that I wish I could sync with my Dell laptop (Vista Home
Premium). I have installed the Windows Mobile Device Center which instructs
me to download Outlook in order to perform. When I install Outlook it seems
to replace Windows Vista Mail. Does this mean I have to use Outlook for my
email or is there some way to use Outlook for synching and Windows Mail for
email at the same time?

Windows Mail & Outlook are two seperate apps, Outlook hasnt 'replaced' Mail
it is simply selected as the default email app.
If you attempt to use both it will likely lead to comfusion - unless you
have a seperate mail account that you dont wish to sync with your Ipaq

So, it's not like using Outlook and Outlook Express like I did when I had XP?
I've heard Outlook 2002 doesn't work well with Vista. Sounds like I'll have
to actually buy a new version of Outlook

OL2002 is not fully compatible with Vista 2003 and above are.
The usuall problem is that password are not remembered

If you previously used both OL & OE in winxp without confusion, then you can
continue using OL & Mail in Vista
