I just got a new mini Netbook, can I use my XP disk?

I just got a new Acer Mini Netbook.
Can I use my Windows XP Home Edition CD to upload the Word and Excel
programs, or do I have to buy them all over again?

You won't be able to upload Word and Excel from a Windows CD, no. But if you
have a version of Office/Word/Excel that is licensed for installation on
more than one system, then you will be able to install it on your Netbook,
provided you can figure out how to upload it (USB drives have been suggested
if you don't have an external CD drive).
