Import / Export Problems

L

Lord Vader III

I am having some problems importing into Outlook 2003 from Outlook 2000
and was wondering if anyone could help me. I imported my .pst file over
and everything looked fine. However, I now have 2 Personal Folders
listed (both have different icons) in the All Mail Folders window. When
I open them up, they are exactly the same. Even when I get a new mail
message, it is going into both Inboxes in both Personal Folders. How do
I get rid of one of them?

Next, I am having problems with my address book. When I click on
contacts, all of my contacts are displayed. However, when I open my
address book, I get the following error:

"The address list cannot be displayed. The contacts folder associated
with this address list could not be opened; it may have been moved or
deleted, or you do not have permissions."

How can I get my contacts into my address book so I don't get this error
anymore?

Thanks.

You've managed to seriously corrupt your mail profile. Recreate it in
Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles. Next time don't use Import but
use File-> Open-> Outlook Data File... instead
