I must confess that I'm about as much ofd a newbie as is possible! I've used
MS Query to get information from both Access and SQL databases for many
years but have never had anything to do with setting one up.
I've inherited the job of maintaining a relatively simple membership
database from someone who knows less about it than I do. He sent me the mdb
file and I find I can extract data from it but can't open it using Access.
I need to do that so I can keep it up to date.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Should I set up a new database
and reimport the extracted data and take it from there?
