In/Out Board for Outlook

Why can't we have a simple IN/Out Board for our receptionist to know at a
glance who is available for meetings, phone calls?

If you have OUtlook 2002 or 2003, the receptionist can use the group
schedule feature to read free/busy information off the individual users'
Calendar folders in an Exchange environment.
