In Outlook, a rule is set up to automatically completely delete an email.
When the email arrives, the new email flag comes up in the taskbar. The rule
immediately deletes the email, but the new email flag in the taskbar does not
go away. In fact, there is no way to make it go away without receiving a
secondary new email.
