In Publisher, mirror image text (not page)?

I want to print onto a transparency and then use the text image as a
transfer. If I don't mirror the text before printing the transparency, it
will be reversed and unreadable (backwards) after I do the transfer. Any
suggestions? (Flip, rotate, do NOT work. I am not talking about page
mirroring. )Thank you

Copy the text box, paste special as an image, flip. Depending on the font and size
this may not be the best way, the text will be dark. A better way would be paste it
into Paint and flip and then paste it back into Publisher.

Mary, Thanks for trying to answer my question. I'm sorry to repeat this but
'flip' and 'rotate' do not provide the action I need which I think is called
'mirroring text' in some programs. You don't get a mirror image with these
commands.
I've gone back and tried your solution in PAINT and the commands there do
exactly the same thing to the text or object box - they flip it and rotate it
but they do not 'mirror' the text. A mirror image of text deals with a 3rd
dimension. 'Flip' and 'rotate' are 2-dimensional actions.
I can't believe that a program with this much to it would lack this ability,
I just think I haven't found the way yet. Thank you for your answer and for
any additional help you can offer.

What you need is a good drawing program. Have you tried WordArt? You can copy, paste
as an image, ungroup, flip each individual letter.

Normally this is a feature in the printer driver when you select "T-shirt
transfer sheet" or similar, which enables to print mirrored from any
application.
Try selecting the correct papertype and look for a tick box for mirroring
somewhere. Sometimes, like on my Canon Pixma IP4000 it mirrors automatically
when this paper type is selected.
For instance I just now printed your post here mirrored
