I would appreciate any ideas or thoughts you may have
regarding this unique problem.
The page numbers in an Access 97 (SR2) database are
incorrect when users of my system Print or Preview a
report consisting of 400+ pages. Specifically, the
report numbers will show unusual values (for example: the
report will show "Page 1498 of 355" when the user is
really on "Page 402 of 402").
I have found this can be solved by:
1.) Previewing the report
2.) Moving the last page of the report
3.) Moving to the previous page (the second-to-last
page)
4.) Moving to the first page
5.) Printing the report
This is a long, complicated and un-intuitive set of steps
for users to perform; ideally, I would like to find a
solution that does not require user interaction.
Thank you in advance for any ideas you may have!
Sincerely,
John Whitney
