Infopath 2003 - intranet forms - authentication

I published several infopath forms to our intranet and each time a
user without administrator rights tries to access the forms they are
prompted to authenticate.

What am I missing? I do not want them to have this prompt.

IP 2003 had some bugs in it for security and there is generally no way
around those pop ups

Are the forms stored on a web server or just on a network drive?

Do the forms connect to a database?

I created the forms and was originally going to place them on a
network drive but then pushed to our intranet. No they are not
attached to a database.
