On step 9, you should be able to open the View menu and select "Other
Window". No such is on my View menu, only "HTML Source" which does nothing.

I want to have a drop-down box to select a record on the page. Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Are you sure you did Step 8: "Right-click anywhere on the page, and then
click Microsoft Script Editor on the shortcut menu to open the HTML
source"? It sounds like you're using the View menu in the Access
application window, not the Script Editor window.

Hi Max,

Although I usually avoid data access pages, I looked up KB 247823 to see if
I could help you. In Access 2002, I see the "HTML Source" that you describe
on the view menu, but I did not see the "Other Window" until I performed step
8, which reads:

"Right-click anywhere on the page, and then click Microsoft Script Editor on
the shortcut menu to open the HTML source."

The View menu that they are referencing appears to apply to the Microsoft
Script Editor. You should see this indicated in the blue title bar. In Access
2002, however, I do not see the Script Outline choice described. The two
choices I see include Object Browser and Document Outline. This is either due
to my ignorance :), or the later version of Access that I am using, since
the article includes "ACC2000" in it's title.

Good Luck,

Tom

Nevermind. Apparently that feature was not installed and did not tell me
that it needed to be installed. It is installed now and, magically, its
there!
Thanks for your quick responses.

Tom:

FYI, article 285353 has a set of instructions for Access 2002/XP & 2003 that
are significantly different, especially at this point.
(so I guess it's not due to ignorance <g>)
