Labels not printing correctly

Word 2003.

On two printers they use for printing labels developed in Word, users have
to do strange things like clicking Continue before every page when printing
multiple copies of full-page labels (HP LaserJet 1020), or removing &
reinserting paper (HP LaserJet 1200).

I thought at first I had a printer problem but am now convinced the problem
is with the layout of some Word labels. I did some extensive testing of
printing various document types, and only the labels print incorrectl. These
are labels they have saved as full pages of labels.

I suspect it might be because they left the default Manual Feed as the paper
source in the label options, but am not sure, and even if that is the issue,
I am not sure how to correct it for the document that is now a full page of
labels. I got it to print without error by going to Tools -> Letters &
Mailings -> Envelopes and Labels -> Options and changing the Tray to Default;
however, this printed only the text in the label window, not the text saved
(10 times) on the document itself.

Am I close? If so, how do I fix these?

As you suspected labels are usually configured for manual feed. If you want
to print the new document you have created without the warning, File > Page
Setup > Paper > Paper Source. Change to the appropriate tray.

What is the difference between doing that and picking the correct tray in the
properties of the selected printer at print time? I tried that to no avail.

I will try doing it through Page Setup, though, as you recommend.

Thank you.
