Late Start and Late Finish

I have a need to display the red, green, Yellow Stop lights for tasks that
have a late or currently scheduled late start and a late or currently
scheduled late finish. Can I use a function and 2 custom number fields to
accomplish this?

I am using MS Project 2002 Standard. I need the capability to do the
following:
Display a red stop light for tasks that are scheduled to have started but
have not
Display a yellow stop light for tasks that are schedules to start in the
next 2 days
display a green stop light for task that have started on time or are future
tasks

I want to use the same schema for the late finish

Any help is appreciated.
