Len([fieldname])

There a way to get a field to read the length of a
field in the same table, ie...

tMnemonics
Mnemonic, Text, 128, DefaultValue:""
LenMnemonic, Number, Long, DefaultValue: Len([Mnemonic])

I've tried the following with no success at the moment...

Len([tMnemonics]![Mnemonic])
Len([Mnemonic])
Len(tMnemonics.Mnemonic)

Hmmm, this only available in a query?

Only in a query. There are no calculated fields in tables.
