Limits in the Outbox for external applications

I'm trying to send 200 emails from an external database and through
Outlook's outbox. I can only manage to put 20 emails in the outbox, no
more. That is the max. emails I'm able to send (i've even restarted
outlook and the database without luck)

Exactly what happens when you try to put more there? The Outbox folder will
hold at LEAST 64K messages.
