Lines and pictures do not show up but print ok

In publisher my lines, pictures, and drawing objects do not appear. They
don't show up in print pre-view either, however when I print they are all
there. The problem is I cannot set up my documents unless I can see the
objects and graphics. Is something turned of that causes this problem?

If this isn't the solution, it probably is your video driver.
Slide the acceleration down on your adapter, control panel, display folder, settings
tab, advanced button, troubleshoot tab.
If this corrects the issue go to the manufacturer's web site of your graphics card
and look around for an updated driver.

I am having the same issue where my lines and pictures don't show up on my
publisher 2003 documents. I tried the 2 solutions that you offered but
neither nor solved the issue. I have also uninstalled office 2003 and
reinstalled it and I have the same issue. What else could be causing this
problem?

Might check your accessibility settings, turn off high contrast if it is
enabled.
