Link two project file

Hello Dear:
Would that be possible to link some of the cutomized
columns from one project file to the second. Therefore,
my team do not need to enter the values twice.
Please advise

Hi,

You can copy and paste link form one file to another. However, if you do so,
don't move, rename or over-write either file because that will corrupt the
links and possibly the files as well. Much safer is to have a macro to copy
the values before you print a report.

Thank you Rod
I will try to write the micro to copy the value from one
column file to the other. I have to clarify one thing
before doing this. I assume these two files does not have
to open together becasue both files are in the network
directory but it is password protected by two different
proeject managers therefore during editing one file may be
open and at the same time the other file might be closed?
Please advise
