Linking account numbers in BCM to customer ID in MSOAP07

When I create a new account in BCM wouldn't that account be automatically
created in MSOAP07? Thus MSOAP07 giving the new account a customer ID? Also,
for accounts that are already existing in MSOAP07 with a customer ID, why
doesn't the customer ID show up as an account number in BCM?
