Linking Milestones from individual plans into a master milestones

I am trying to link milestones from several individual plans into one
milestone plan. The aim is to have sections in the overall plan for each
project, linked where there are dependencies between those projects. When a
milestone changes on an individual plan then it will automatically change the
milestone on the master plan. I have tried using the "links selected fields
dynamically between project plans" in help. This seems to allow the task name
to change dynamically but does not change the date dynamically....any ideas?

Hello,
Create a simple FS link with the "Link Tasks" icon in the tool bar :
Create a new window with all the files to link, select the predcessor
millestone, press the Ctrl key, select the successor and click the Link
Tasks icon

Gerard - thanks for this, but I don't think it resolves my problem - I want
one milestone gantt chart that is made up of dynamic milestones links to
other gantt charts - I get all the project gantt charts sent to me, and I
want to link each milestone in the project gantt charts into one overall
milestone gantt chart - i would not manually make changes to the overall
chart as it will be updated by the others. The dynamic linking solution seems
to keep the text of the milestone up to date but does not change the date in
the master chart....

Hi,

A customer of mine wanted just this, and the best I could come up with is a
VBA procedure that reads all the projects and copies the milestones into an
overview file.
