Linking to a MS Project schedule on a server

Hi,
NEED some assistance. We have a Master MS Project schedule file (that's
updated weekly) on a server (WindChill). I want to link my local / internal
schedule to this Master file. However, I keep getting a message "cannot
connect to a schedule on a web server" when I do a copy, Paste Special.

Does anyone know of a another way of linking to a file on a Web server or a
way around this issue

Thanks!

There isn't. Any such link is also highly susceptible to corruption as it
uses the old DDE technology. If the data does not need updating often, do it
manually. If it needs regular updates or there are a lot of data points,
then VBA is a great solution.
