Links does not work in outlook 2003

When i press a link in an e-mail it just opens my webbrowser but it doesn't
go to the site just opens the startpage "google" in my case. Why oh why.
Worked fine before.

I use win vista home pre

This is normal if you are using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. Firefox
opens the home page first, the link in a second window. If you are using IE,
check your default program settings & file associations in Start, Default
Programs.

I used to have avant browser but i've uninstalled all the other browsers but
it seems like ie won't "stick" as my default browser. Don't know why

Try using Windows' Folder Options to correct the problem with the
"URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol" file type.
