losing formating when I copy and paste between .pub docs

Hello...

I am working on a newsletter that I started work on from a four-page
template... It prints as four 8.5x11 pages...

I need this document to print on 11 x 17 paper so i create one document of
all four pages that i can then fold in half (my computer is networked to my
office copier/printer that can print this size). To accomplish this I decided
it would be better if I could re-create my newsletter as an 11x17, however,
when I try to copy paste my original items into my new 11x17 .pub file I lose
all the formatting.

I am doing edit > select all and then paste to do this...

any thoughts on how I can retain all my formatting as i copy and paste each
original page into the 11 x 17 layout?

thank you!

I am using MS Publisher 2003

I have tried the booklet setup but the final output is not all in the same
direction (ie. page 1 and 4 are upside down to page 2 and 3)...

any suggestions to get over this latest hump??

thank you!

Look at your printer settings. Mine say "flip pages up" if I do this I will get
a print the way you are describing. Some printers will say it a bit differently.

Publisher will setup a booklet properly and will print correctly, but you have
to setup the printer first. In your case the printer setup will be tabloid (17
x11 ).
