MacroButton and AutoText

I have a Text Box in the Header and Footer of my document. In this
Text Box I would like to have some sort of MacroButton that can insert
different AutoText. These AutoText need to be formatted (e.g. part of
the text Bold, the other with specific Styles and Formatting). In
addition, some of the AutoText will have automatically updated Date
fields and may need additional MacroButton with the
AcceptAllChangesShown Macro name.

Can this be done, and if so, how? Will I need a script? I am actually
trying to avoid scripts, so it'd be better if this could be
accomplished without using scripts.
