mail merge disappearing clipart picture problem

My Publisher merge document is a side-fold greeting card with a textbox
(autoshape) and clip-art on page 1 and merged-in text on page 3. Here's the
problem: When I merge to a new publication, the clip-art disappears. Any
idea what's going on?

All the clipart? Look at the advanced print in the print dialogue to make sure
you are telling the printer to print pictures. How current is your printer
driver?

I have not had any problems printing graphics -- clip-art, photos, whatever.
Because the clip-art does not appear in the merged Publisher file (apart from
any printing process), I don't think this is a printer issue.

What version Publisher?

Are you merging the pictures? I just now setup a folded card with all sorts of
images and text boxes and it merged just fine. I'd look for a new driver.
It is always advisable to completely remove your driver before
installing/reinstalling.

I will try reinstalling the driver. But since I see the problem before
printing even comes up, I'm doubtful.

My Publisher version is 2003. I don't remember the build number. I'm
running XP Pro with SP2.

If you cannot see the images it very well could be your video driver, read the

Are you using page setup or are you manually setting up the card? Are you using
the commercial printing setup? Maybe it is a glitch in the program

I had a similar problem yesterday. If I converted the clipart to a .jpg it
didn't disappear anymore!
