Making outlook.pst file smaller

Hi,
I did a huge cleaning on my outlook. Deleted many messages and big messages.
But the size of the file outlook.pst is still the same.

Is there a way to make outlook.pst file smaller?

I want to make it lighter, is it possible?

Click on File > Data File Management > Settings > Compact Now.
