Messages are deleted after replying

After I reply to a message, it is permanently deleted. It doesn't even go to
the Deleted file. I have used Outlook for years & never had this happen. I
tried changing thing in Advanced E-mail options under Tools, but nothing has
helped.

Are you sure you haven't got "View Unread Messages Only" checked?

I fixed the problem. I didn't have "View Unread Messages Only" checked, but
for some reason, all the messages to which I had replied were listed at the
bottom of the Inbox, even though it was sorted by Received date. I managed
to customize the view, which solved the problem. Thanks anyway!!!
