Microsoft Functions

[NZSCOUT]

I am trying to write over 20 IIF statments in one query, but Access tells me
that the statement is too long. Is there a function that can be used instead
of IIF that has no limit to the coding that can be entered.
I have also tried the SWITCH Function and come up with the same problem.

You may need to write your own function using a Select Case statement:

Select Case SomeVariable
Case FirstValue
Do Something here
Case SecondValue
Do something else here
.....
Case NValue
Do more here
Case Else
Do Default here
End Select
