Suddenly my e-mails are going into my Outlook Express e-mail inbox instead of
my Office Outlook inbox, this is a major inconvenience. Does anyone have any
suggestions as to how to fix this problem please?

Under account settings you could check "Leave Messages on server for X
amount of days". If you do that on both Outlook and Outlook Express,
you would receive email on both of them.

Umm don't open Outlook Epress?

Outlook Express can't receive messages if you don't run it. Alternatively,
it can't receive messages if you remove the account from it.
