Using Windows 98 I have used the HELP button extensively
for Word and Excell. I always worked fine.
Suddenly I can not get a reply on the screen. Heere is
what I do:
I click on help, click on Microsoft Word Help, I get a
window which asks "What would you like to do?" I write,
for example, "taskbar" and click on search. I immediately
get a window that gives me several options. I select one
and highlight it, and click search again. And then nothing
happens! I do not get any information. No matter how many
times I click the window with the options it remains on
the screen and I do not get any information of what to do
about taskbars. This has only happened recently. I must
have accidentially clicked on something that block the
help information. CAN YOU HELP? I WOULD SINCERELY
APPRECIATE IT.

G'day "Robert \(Bob\) Behr" <[email protected]>,

ya know, I think I solved this once by killing all the files possible
after a clean reboot that came from this search

*.tmp ~* *.gid
