when i open project i have a message missing or broken reference owc10.dll
version 1.1

Chances are very good you don't need it. If I recall correctly this
is one of the references created when you convert an MDB from an older
version of Access to a newer version.

I'd suggest clearing the reference check box and compiling your
project to see if you have any errors.

I have 1 user out of about 10 users getting this same error message. WinXP
Pro has just been loaded on his machine. What could be causing one user to
get the error?

I strongly suspect the reference to owc10.dll is not required. So my
advice is the same.

I'd suggest clearing the reference check box and compiling your
project to see if you have any errors.
