ms project rows

Hello, How do I un-hide missing rows in project file? My file skips from row
5 to 11 and I can not seem to 'un-hide' the rows or find content in the help
file. Pls help!

Hi ?,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

You cannot hide or unhide rows. I suspect you have a filter applied. Try
Project/Filtered for... and select All Tasks.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

I've seen this happen when your have sub-projects linked to a 'master'
project, and then create dependencies between tasks in different
sub-projects. MS Project seems to create "dummy" tasks in the
sub-project that relate to the linked-to tasks in the other sub-project
(hope this makes sense) and you can't necessarily unhide.

(I found this out when playing with task IDs in a
master-and-two-sub-projects scenario where I needed to know unique task
IDs across all projects - never did work out what Project was doing, but
it seems to understand itself!)

Thank you very much. That exactly was the problem with me
