MORE iTunes toggle question

Sorry if t his has been asked a zillion times. I cannot find an
answer. I am wondering how to do the following:

Have title slide open in presenter tools mode and have iTunes playing
as people come into the training room. I would like the music to play
FROM iTunes (with out having to insert music into PowerPoint program)
and then "toggle" something and begin the presentation, which includes
video and audio. Then, at breat, I'd like to "toggle something" and
resume iTunes WITHOUT SHUTTING DOWN THE PRESENTER TOOLS so I don't
change the atmosphere or what's on the screen.

Any thoughts?

I have office 2008, OS X 10.5
Thanks!

Hi,

Since you've ruled out the most obvious solution (include or link to the
audio from within the presentation), you could create an action button
that runs an AppleScript that controls iTunes.

I love the idea of that . . I think. Although I do not have a clue
how to use AppleScript! And I have never used an action button. Will
the button stay available throughout the pp presentation?

Hi,

To learn how to use Applescript visit
http://developer.apple.com/applescript/

There are many other Applescript resources, such as
http://www.scriptbuilders.net/

If you put an action button onto a Master slide it will appear on each
slide within your presentation (at least those based on that particular
master).
