MS Access on Pocket Pc

G'Day All,

I have a client who owns an iPAQ (as also do I).

The client has been told that Access databases can, like Word documents,
be transferred to a HPC (Windows Mobile 2003).

Does anybody have experience/an authoritative view on this?

Unfortunately, while Pocket PCs have Pocket Word and Pocket Excel, there
really isn't an Access equivalent.

G'Day Doug,

Thanks for the prompt reply - it's great to hear from a scholar.

The articles pretty much confirm what I suspected - I can't
really see a fully relational db on a PDA any time soon, let alone
a version of Access with Macros/VBA.

I'll (gently but) firmly can this notion with the client before it gets
out of hand.
