How can I create Resource Units field of task on the Gantt Chart view in Ms
Project Professional 2003?
Thanks.

In the Gantt Chart view, click Window - Split. This view is known as the
Task Entry view. In the top pane, you have the Gantt Chart; in the lower
pane, you have the Task Form, where you can access the Units field for each
resource you assign to a task. In fact, I strongly recommend you use this
Task Entry view for assigning resources to tasks, as it gives you complete
control over all features of the Microsoft Project scheduling engine. Hope
this helps.

I need set up this field for monitoring purpose on the reports; and excatly
on Gantt Chatt view or task pane, that show how many or percete the Units
resource was used. Could you please give any formula or Macro for that

Display the Gantt Chart view and then click View - Table - Entry. Pull your
split bar to the right side of the Resource Names column. In the Resource
Names column, the software displays no percentage value when you assigned
the resource at 100% Units, and shows the percentage in brackets when you
assigned the reosurce at Units less than 100%. That's the simplest way to
address your problem, I believe. Hope this helps.
