MS Project Master with sub-projects

How do I distribute an MS Project 2003 file via email which contains a master
project and a number of sub-projects? Currently the receipients receive the
master project correctly but cannot view the data in the sub-projects.

Ian,
Be aware that the master project does not physically contain the
subrprojects. Rather, the master only contains pointers to the
individual subprojects. In order for your recipients to see everything,
you will need to send them the master AND all subprojects.

There is another option that might work better in your case. Instead of
creating a dynamic master, which is the default, create a static master.
With a static master, the contents of each subproject IS physically
inserted into the master. However with a static master there is no link
between the master and the separate subprojects so updating tasks in the
master will no longer be reflected in the subprojects and vice versa. To
create a static master, uncheck the "link to file" box at the bottom
right of the Insert Project window.

Hope this helps.
