MS table autofill from Excel

Hello,
For work I have a number of tables within MSWord report templates tha
are filled in from data collected into excel spreadsheets.

Is it possible for the excel spreadsheets to be linked to the wor
tables so that when both files are in the same folder, the word table
are automatically updated?

Select a range in the Excel file and copy it. In Word, use the Paste
Special dialog box to paste the data as a link; this results in an
automation object (sometimes referred to as OLE), which can be updated.
