Hi,
I am working on staff planning for technical departments in a construction consultancy firm.
I have a listed all the projects with start/finish dates (for all the phases)in the mpp and allocated resource for each phase(with % of involvement) .Actually in a simple way I have allocated 2 resources engineer and draftsman and allocated time for each task. thus I have generated resouce work availability graph.
The same way I have given the std rate for engineer and draftsman.So now I can see the cost for engineers and draftsman monthly by plotting "cost' in the resource graph.Now I want to compare the available budget for each task Vs actual cost generated. How can I do this exercise? Is it possible to see the comparison in resouce graph as I could see the available work Vs actual?
