mutiple Gantt bars for a single task

If I have date columns that reflect plan, forecast & actual start and finish
dates (3 independent durations) for a single task, how can I show 3 separate
Gantt bars for the same task? My think was that I should be able to present a
given task in 3 possible durations that would look like 3 stacked bars with 3
different colors for one task. Is this possible?
Any advice is appreciated!

Yes, this is possible. Here's how:

1. Open the project in question
2. Click View - More Views
3. Select the Gantt Chart view and click the Copy button
4. Name the new view something like "Multiple Bar Gantt Chart" and click OK
5. Click the Apply button
6. Double-click anywhere in the white part of the Gantt Chart
7. In the Bar Styles dialog, select the Split row item
8. Press the Insert key twice to create two new blank rows
9. In the two blank rows, add the following names: Forecast Task and
Actual Task
10. For each of the new task definitions, do the following:
A. Change the Color of the bar to something other than Blue
B. Set the Show For column value to Normal
C. Set the Row value to 2 and 3 respectively
11. For the Forecast Task item, set the From value to Baseline Start and
the To value to Baseline Finish
12. For the Actual Task item, set the From value to Actual Start and the To
value to Actual Finish
13. Click the OK button
14. Click Tools - Organizer
15. Copy your new Multiple Bar Gantt Chart to the Global.mpt file and then
click Close

Hope this helps.
