How do I import my old folders (dbx files) from Outlook
Express into Outlook 2003. When I try the normal import,
I get message that folder is open. ( it is not.).

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Doug

Are both programs installed on the same machine? Have you tried exporting
from the OE side instead of importing from the Outlook side?

I have a completely new machine. The outlook express
files are data files from an older machine that has been
passed on to my daughter. Is it possible to lauch OE on a
machine that has Office XP installed?

....and Outlook Express should already be installed on your computer if you
have installed Internet Explorer (which usually comes preinstalled anyway).
