I am a novice user of Access & InfoPath. I have created a database to track
service requests for my organisation. Users write to the database using the
InfoPath (which is located on a shared drive) and another user does
occasional queries to search for new requests. I would like to know if there
is a way (we use lotus not outlook for e-mail) that either Access or Infopath
could send some sort of visual or e-mail notification that there is a new
entry in the database? I have so many different users and it would be easier
to be alerted to new entries as opposed to them doing periodic queries.
Could you please advise...thanks in advance for your assistance
