New Outlook 07 freezes when attempting to open calendar

among the numerous issues I have encountered upon upgrading Office XP
to 07, I now also have the dreaded hourglass every time I click on the
calendar tab in Outlook. I incorrectly thought that maybe it was a
first-time "coordination" issue with old files on the new
program....but after letting the hourglass sit for over 2 hours, I
figure that was an incorrect assumption.

Any clues?

Create a new Profile and add a new data file & your accounts.

Once you have repaired your old pst files, within OL open them and copy data
to your new data file

This may very well answer two of my questions at once... I'll give it
a whirl and report back.
