no password reset feature?

not happy

Hi.
My installation of Groove 3.1 instructed me today to upgrade, so I could
view a new workspace. I followed the instructions including using the groove
migration tool and uninstalling groove, however when i discovered that the
upgrade file was over 200MB, which ridiculously was not previously mentioned,
I stopped the process. Now when I've tried to restore my v3.1 installation,
I have to enter my username and password. Groove rejects any of my email
addresses, I have no idea which one I originally used, and there is no
apparent feature to retrieve/reset it!
What's am I supposed to do?

If our Groove version is 3.0f or later and if domain admin has been set
automatically reset password option on management server; we can reset
password by Forgot your password? Link on Groove logon window. There will be
an email with temp password be sent to your email box.

If your Groove version is 3.0e or earlier or your domain admin hasn't set
automatically password reset, we can contact domain admin for manually
password reset if the corresponding options are set on management server.

If you are non-managed user, you may unable to do password reset.

Hi,

Because you have migrated your Groove account from 3.1 to 2007. So, you
can't use new account files in Groove 3.1. I'm not sure do you chose delete
account data when you reinstall Groove 3.1. If you install Groove without
keep any previous account data, you can retrieve your Groove account from
Groove.net. But, the workspace may be lost, you should have other members
re-invite you.

Hi,
I chose not to delete the account data, but it doesn't appear to have found
this. I don't know where that account data is kept, and since the
re-insallation of Groove 3.1 the Groove networks folder appears to have been
cleaned out.
I am not a managed user. How do I retrieve my account from Groove.net? The
installer doesn't accept any of my email/password combinations.

Hi,

You can chose delete account data during reinstall Groove 3.1, and then use
your email and password to retrieve your Groove account. Groove 3.1 don't
recognize Groove 2007 account.

Hop it's helpful.
