Non-working time shading not showing in convert to pdf

Morning All,

Hope you can help. I'm trying to convert a gantt chart to pdf but
whenever I try, the non-working time shading disappears, making it
look as though every day is a working day. When I print to my printer
it works fine. The columns don't disappear, just the grey shading
indicating it is a non-working day.

Looking at the print preview for both adobe pdf and my laser, their
previews reflect what is happening once printed so it would seem there
is an adobe setting to 'switch off non-working time shading' or
similar.

I've looked through all the settings I can find (project and acrobat)
but can't find anything that works.

Anyone got any answers???

Apologies if this has already been addressed in an earlier post.
Using Project 2002 & Acrobat 7.0

Many thanks,

Anthony.

It may well be a problem with the pdf printer you are using. Try downloading
and installing one of the free pdf printers from the web and see if it
works. Is this problem unique to your printer or everyone's?

A workaround might be to copy the Gantt chart and paste it into another
application using the copy picture feature.

Hi Anthony

In the properties setting of the PDF printer - Increase the dpi setting.

Hope this helps

Hi All,

Thanks for all the suggestions. Still haven't been able to get it to
work but I haven't had a chance to really sit down and figure it out.

Once I know what it is I'll be sure to let you know.

Thanks again,

Anthony
